One can often tell the difference between someone who has moved so many times that they are an expert on the subject, and others who have hardly moved in their entire lives. The easiest way to tell whether someone is experienced at moving or not is by asking the questions, “If you had to move, what would you need to think about?”
Before anyone can move, there are a number of considerations
that a person has to take into account before they put the time,

money and effort into moving somewhere, regardless of whether it is near or far away. First, there is the question of work. Is there going to be a job at the new place or are they going to have to look for one when they get there. If not, then they are going to have to ensure that they have enough money saved up to cover their rent, deposits and other expenses for a couple months while they look for a job. If they are staying at the same place of employment, then they are going to have to think about whether or not they are going to have to take time off work or not and whether or not they can afford to. If they need time off work, they are going to have to ensure that they ask for the time off well ahead of time. Once that has been thought of, there is the concern of whether they need to hire and book house movers or to rely on some friends who might be willing and able to help in the move.
Besides worrying about work and who is going to move them, they have to think about how they are going to pack up their house and how they are going to shift their possessions to their new home. They can, of course, ask their friends for help and rent a truck to transport everything in, or they can make things easier on themselves and hire a couple house movers. There are many moving companies out there who offer moving services at a decent price. Whether or not to go through one of those companies or to do it all by themselves is probably one of the biggest pre-move decisions that a person will have to make; however, they will have to make the decision enough ahead of time so that they can get everyone set on a day to get the move started and finished in a good amount of time. The other pre-move decisions that a person will have to make include what they are going to throw out, what they are going to sell and what they are going to take with them, what items should go in certain boxes and where each box is going to go in the new place. They will also need to sort out what boxes should be put into the truck first and what should go into the truck last so that nothing gets crushed or broken on the way to their new home.
